Merri Kindergarten Diploma Educator

• Salary dependent on qualifications and experience
• Early Childhood Educator - Diploma qualified (working towards - 30 hours per week

We are currently seeking an appropriately experienced and diploma qualified (or studying towards) early childhood educator to assist in the provision of a quality early childhood program at our Merri service.

• Diploma in children’s services or equivalent or evidence that the applicant is working towards obtaining.
• Current employee working with children check
• Current Level 2 first aid certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

• Demonstrated prior experience in an early childhood setting.

Strong Communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, families and staff.

Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the Victorian Early Years Development Framework, Early Years Framework and the National Quality Standards

Knowledge and understanding of Child Safe Standards and Mandatory Reporting requirements
