INSOLVENCY & RESTRUCTURING MANAGER – SYDNEY – NATIONAL FIRM - $150K NEG (JOB ID 1884)

We're partnering with one of Australia's fastest-growing insolvency and advisory firms, employing 100+ professionals across five Australian offices. Specialising in corporate insolvency, restructuring, turnaround and business recovery, the firm combines the capability of a national practice with a collaborative culture that genuinely invests in its people. 

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Insolvency Manager looking to take ownership of complex appointments while mentoring a team and working closely with Directors and Registered Liquidators in a growing Sydney office. 

The Role 

• Manage corporate insolvency and restructuring appointments from commencement to completion 

• Lead voluntary administrations, liquidations, receiverships and small business restructures 

• Mentor, coach and review the work of junior team members 

• Prepare and review statutory reports, investigations and financial analysis 

• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, creditors, lawyers, financiers and other professionals 

• Identify commercial outcomes and provide practical restructuring solutions 

• Support business development and strengthen referral relationships 

• Work closely with Directors and Registered Liquidators on complex engagements 

About You 

• 5+ years' Australian corporate insolvency experience 

• Demonstrated experience managing insolvency appointments 

• CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion) 

• Strong knowledge of Australian insolvency legislation and practice 

• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills 

• Commercially minded with strong analytical and report-writing ability 

• Proven ability to mentor staff and manage multiple engagements
