Receptionist/Operations Assistant

The role    
 
Our Canberra office is currently seeking a Receptionist/Operations Assistant to join our national Reception & Operations Team on a full-time basis. This will be a dynamic, active and varied position dealing with both our clients and people at all levels within the firm.     
 
The role will involve responsibilities in:

• Answering and allocating Canberra calls, while assisting with overflow national calls on an ARC Cisco system.
• Professional meet and greet of clients on a daily basis;
• Booking and preparing meeting rooms for client meetings;
• Meeting room and assisting with event set-up;
• Maintaining and updating various spreadsheets;
• Maintaining and ordering catering, stationery and kitchen supplies;
• Assisting with food, coffee and other beverage preparation;
• Distribution of incoming deliveries;
• Administrative support to team
• Mail - sorting and distributing incoming & outgoing mail and internal mail rounds
• Photocopying, scanning and other tasks, such as binding and collating documents
• Outside clerk rounds
• Building management liaison - including maintenance requests and general facilities management tasks
• Organising couriers
• Assisting the information technology support team with IT hardware set up and maintenance

 
We are looking for a candidate who has strong written and verbal communications skills, a happy and professional demeanour with a positive 'can do' attitude, someone who is an enthusiastic and energetic team player. You will be likeable, personable and an energy creator. The role will require you to be reliable and proactive, to have basic computer skills and have the ability to effectively prioritise your workload.
