MC Local Drivers – Day Shift

Cahill Transport is seeking experienced MC Drivers to join our Eastern Creek team, completing local and regional general freight deliveries across NSW.

This is a full-time, ongoing day shift role with early morning starts, modern automatic equipment and consistent Monday to Friday work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating MC combinations across local and regional NSW routes.

• Transporting general freight using tautliners.

• Completing pick-ups and deliveries across the Sydney metro area and regional NSW.

• Safely restraining loads using straps and angles.

• Completing daily vehicle checks and required transport documentation.

• Working in line with NHVR, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

What You’ll Bring

• Current MC licence – essential.

• Minimum 2 years' MC driving experience in local, linehaul or general freight operations.

• Tautliner and general freight experience.

• Strong load restraint skills, particularly straps and angles.

• Confidence with reversing, docking and tight access deliveries.

• Good understanding of fatigue management, NHVR and CoR requirements.

• EWD (Electronic Work Diary) experience highly regarded.

• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused approach.
