Construction Administrator (Pre-site & On-site)

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Customer focused Construction Administrator to join their team.

Working across both the Pre-Site and On-Site phases, you'll act as the primary point of contact for your clients, ensuring they remain informed throughout the build process while coordinating with internal departments to keep every project progressing smoothly.

This is not an entry-level opportunity. We're looking for someone with previous experience in a Customer Service Administrator role within residential construction who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with clients.

The Role Reporting into the Customer Service Manager, you'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients while ensuring all administrative processes are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the customer journey from deposit through to handover
• Reviewing and maintaining customer files and documentation
• Providing regular communication and updates to clients throughout the build process
• Coordinating permits, contract drawings and drawing amendments
• Following up finance approvals and arranging warranty insurance
• Maintaining accurate records, workflow updates and project milestones within the CRM
• Liaising with internal departments, brokers, consultants and customers to ensure projects continue progressing
• Preparing reports, attending workflow meetings and monitoring outstanding actions
• Providing administrative support across the broader customer service and estimating teams

About You To be successful, you'll have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Customer Service Administrator, ideally within the residential building industry
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and time management
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong administrative skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously
• Solid Microsoft Office experience
