MC Linehaul Driver (PM Shift)

We are looking for motivated and reliable Truck Drivers to join our team in a thriving and rewarding organization at our depot based in Wetherill Park. 

We are looking for the following drivers:

MC Linehaul Drivers

Start Time between 8PM TO 10PM

About the role:

The successful candidate will perform duties including, but not limited to:

• Responsible for the delivery of customer freight in full and on time 

• Ensure compliance with Mass Management, Fatigue Management, Load Restraint and other associated company  policy and procedures. 

• Conduct and complete the daily checks for defects and safe operating conditions of the vehicle and sign the vehicle observation book. 

• Ensure loads are secured prior to departing the depot. 

• Drive company vehicle in an economical manner by adhering to the driver operations best practice. 

•   Adhere to all road rules and regulations whilst on roads. 

• A strong customer focus is compulsory in meeting and understanding customer needs through the delivery of freight and services. 

• Assist with distribution duties (stock movements, loading / unloading of product into  
  racking, general duties etc.) 

• Attend industry specific training to maintain compliance requirements of the company 

• Assist with other duties as directed by management. 

About you:

• Have experience driving in the Transport and Logistics Industry. 

• A minimum of two years’ experience operating an MC truck

• A clean driving record 

• A valid MC licence. 

• Have a clean traffic history 

• A sound understanding of Load Restraint. 

• Possess excellent organisational skills and time management. 

• Have a reliable personality and good work ethic. 

• Have a professional manner and presentation. 

• Possess excellent customer service skills. 

• Have Dangerous Goods awareness. 

• Has a BFM Certificate

All successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a medical assessment, drug and alcohol testing. As part of the recruitment process, a recent driving history report and a National Police Check must also be completed
