Finance Officer

We're looking for an organised and detail-focused Finance Officer to support the financial operations of Outcare. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, completing reconciliations, supporting reporting processes and helping ensure our finance systems run smoothly

The opportunity - Jandakot | 0.6 FTE | 6-month fixed term

This is a hands-on finance role that will see you working across transactional finance, reconciliations, reporting support and finance administration. You'll work closely with the Finance Business Partner and internal stakeholders to maintain financial accuracy, support reporting requirements and contribute to continuous improvement across finance processes.

What you will be focused on

• Maintaining financial records, coding structures and supporting documentation.
• Preparing reconciliations, workpapers and month-end reporting inputs.
• Supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable and finance administration activities.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and funding reporting processes.
• Maintaining finance registers, trackers and reporting schedules.
• Help to improve finance systems, processes and reporting tools

About you

You will be someone who enjoys working with detail, takes pride in accuracy and can manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.

You'll bring:

• Experience in finance administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable or a similar finance support role.
• Experience preparing reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Sound Excel and financial systems skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
• The ability to work collaboratively and provide excellent internal customer service.
• A commitment to confidentiality, integrity and accuracy.
• Qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Commerce or a related field will be highly regarded.

Employment requirements

A current driver’s license and National Police Clearance are required. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check and, if required, a NDIS Worker Screening Check. Applicants must hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid visa permitting employment in Australia.
