An exciting opportunity is available now at Priceline Pharmacy in Swan Hill for a Pharmacist Manager.

Salary Package: $145,000 +, pending experience

As a Pharmacist Manager, your role will be to meet all professional requirements in the pharmacy and to ensure the efficient running of the dispensary, whilst working closely with our Retail Manager to ensure continued growth and success of the overall business.

About the Position

• Lead, mentor, and build the capability of a dedicated dispensary team, including pharmacists, interns, and technicians

• Establish clear performance expectations and foster a collaborative, supportive workplace

• Demonstrate exceptional clinical knowledge and professional ethics to set the standard for patient care.

• Oversee stock control, monitor inventory shrinkage, and optimise purchasing to support dispensary profitability

• Build strong professional relationships with patients, local GP’s, and all health professionals to ensure coordinated and trusted community care

• Have excellent communication skills

Duties Include

Dispensing & Clinical Care

• Accurately dispense medications and provide patient counselling

• Overseeing the dispensing of 400 – 500 scripts / day supported by fully automated dispensing robot 

• Overseeing webster packing for residential and aged care facilities

• Experience on Fred Dispense is an advantage

• Administer clinical immunisation services and conduct MedsChecks as required

• Experience in pharmacotherapy, delivering MATOD services and conducting appropriate reviews would be an advantage

• An interest in career advancement including Pharmacy Scope of Practice

Business Management and Supportive 

• Control inventory, manage budgets, drive retail sales, and maintain commercial performance

• Working within an experienced team with multiple pharmacists and dispensary technicians

• An opportunity for accredited pharmacists to provide RMMR and QUM services to Aged Care Facilities

• Attractive annual salary package $145,000 +, pending experience

Required Experience and Qualifications: 

• Valid, unrestricted general registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA via the Pharmacy Board of Australia 

• Accredited immuniser certification recognised in Victoria 

• Professional Indemnity Insurance

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience

• Remain up to date with PBS legislative requirements impacting on the dispensary and the pharmacy

• Actively participate in training programs to increase knowledge and provide a higher level of service

• Police check
