About the role
POSITION: Senior Artist Ticketing Coordinator
LOCATION: Adelaide Fringe Head Office
REPORTS TO: Assistant Ticketing Manager
EMPLOYMENT:Full time (Fixed Term, FTE 38 Hours), 3 November 2026 to 21 March 2027
SALARY: $74,500 per annum (pro rata), plus 12% superannuation
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Artist Ticketing Coordinator plays a key leadership role within the Adelaide Fringe Ticketing team. Working closely with the Ticketing Manager and Assistant Ticketing Manager, this position provides day-to-day supervision, training and support to the Artist Ticketing Coordinators.
The role assists in the training of new coordinators, troubleshoots complex builds and artist and venue requests, and acts as a first point of escalation within the team. The Senior Artist Ticketing Coordinator also liaises across multiple internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure artists, venues and programs are well serviced.
The Senior Artist Ticketing Coordinator works extensively with the Artist and Venue Registration platform (AVR), the Red61 ticketing system and ManageMyTix reporting, and plays a key role in pre-season builds, seasonal program ticketing and post-season reporting.
The role also runs the day-to-day ticketing side of partner campaigns coordinated by Business Development and Marketing, such as subsidised offers, presales and flash sales. Those teams set up the partnership and control the partner spend, and this role builds and runs the ticketing behind it, either directly or with a designated Artist Ticketing Coordinator.
The Artist Ticketing Coordinators and Ticketing Programs Coordinators work off shared inboxes and cover for each other as workloads shift. The Artist Ticketing Coordinators lean artist facing and the Ticketing Programs Coordinators lean program facing, and this role helps keep work moving across both.
During the delivery period of Adelaide Fringe, from 19 February to 21 March 2027, the role participates in a 7-day rotating roster including evening shifts, in collaboration with other Coordinators and the Customer Experience team.
