Handyman / Maintenance Specialist (Plastering & Painting focus)

We have an exciting opportunity available for an accomplished, confident, and experienced Handyman with strong technical expertise in plaster patching and painting.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Handyman with strong technical expertise in plaster patching and painting. While you will handle a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks, your core responsibility will be executing plaster and paint repairs from appliance removals as part of the government rebate program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plastering: High-quality plaster patching, sheet replacing, sanding.

• Painting: Preparing surfaces and applying internal paint coats with a professional finish.

• Labouring: Assisting trade plumbers & electricians in completing their daily tasks.

• General Maintenance: Executing general handyman tasks which may include minor repairs & maintenance.

• Client Service: Communicating professionally with clients, ensuring a clean and tidy workspace, and respecting their property.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven, hands-on experience in plastering (patching/flushing) and painting is essential.

• Strong overall handyman/trade skills with a broad knowledge of home maintenance.

• Possession of a current Valid Australian Driver’s License.

• Own standard hand and power tools required for general maintenance, plastering, and painting.

• Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality.

• A current White Card (Construction Induction) and a clean Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
