Role

• 4 Days at Laverton Location
• NV1 or ability to obtain (Australian Citizens)
• 3-5 years' Experience

We are seeking an Application Specialist to join our customer team. This is on-site working from customer office at Laverton. This role reports into Practice Manager.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Application Development, Enhancement, and Support of technical components in 3rd party applications

• Enhancements to application components where appropriate

• Respond to alerts raised by application monitoring, investigate and resolve

• Follow ITIL best practice for incident management

• Proactively check processes with a view to identifying issues before they affect deliverables

• Analysis of data-related issues to determine how best to resolve application integrity issues

• Application Support for all business applications and interfaces

• Technical assistance for business teams relating to general application queries affecting their functional areas.

• Involvement in project handovers to ensure a smooth transition to production support

• Ensure database performance, replication and data backups are operating efficiently

Requirements and Experience

• JavaScript

• HTML

• C# (Model-View-Controller or similar pattern, secure Web API, Deployment and packaging)

• JSON

• Object-oriented programming concepts

• Microsoft SQL server 2017 (or later version): TSQL, stored procedures/views, knowledge in database schema, indexing, performance optimisation

• .NET Core 3.1 or later version (latest is .NET 8.x)

• Version control

• Internet Information Services (IIS)

Optional but desirable:

• JQuery

• Microsoft Edge browser Dev Tools

• BootStrap

• NuGet

• Automated testing

• Jira/confluence (Altassian suite)

• SSL certificates

• DevOps/DevSecOps/CI-CD
