Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people. As our new Senior Sales Engineer,  you will be driving technical sales growth across the commercial building services sector, leveraging deep industry expertise to convert consultant specifications into awarded projects. 

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Commercial Building Services team, you'll create impact by Building trusted partnerships with consulting engineers, contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver Grundfos solutions on landmark commercial projects.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Identify and conduct feasibility studies on new commercial building projects with potential for Grundfos products and system solutions
• Execute tactical sales plans, nurture opportunities in CRM, and utilise SAP BW data for business analysis and forecasting
• Deliver technical presentations and CPD seminars to consulting engineers, converting specification influence into awarded business through strong contractor relationships
• Provide expert technical advice to customers, consultants, dealers, and contractors on products, applications, and system solutions
• Gather market intelligence on competitor strategies and business trends, providing actionable recommendations to business managers
• Coach and mentor junior team members while collaborating across internal teams, channel partners, and project stakeholders

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a technically confident commercial building services professional with a proven track record winning major projects, established relationships with HVAC and plumbing consultants and contractors, and the ability to engage engineers at a highly technical level. We would also imagine that you have:

• 5+ years of relevant sales experience in the commercial building services or major commercial projects market
• Proven track record with existing contacts among consulting engineers and major HVAC/plumbing contractors
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial building systems, able to deliver CPD seminars and influence specifications
• Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience

It is a plus if you also have:

• Experience working within a large manufacturing environment with complex product portfolios
• Familiarity with SAP BW, CRM tools, and data-driven sales forecasting
• Knowledge of relevant local building regulations and industry standards
