Night Shift Truck Loader

Truck Loader Required

• Part-time role, with the opportunity to transition to full-time

• Immediate start

• 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Catering from South East Queensland to Northern Rivers

• Above award and penalty rates

Hub Link Group is the National Transportation Service provider for Americold Logistics, the global 3PL leader in temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics, supporting major food supply chains across Australia.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Truck Loader to join our night operations team. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant loading operations while supporting daily transport schedules.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Arranging load sequences in coordination with stagers

• Manoeuvring heavy vehicles on and off loading docks

• Loading trucks using electric pallet jacks (minimum 1 year of experience required)

• Overseeing loading operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and load restraint requirements

• Conducting pre-start equipment checks and completing defect reports

• Liaising with supervisors and dispatch to manage load plans and resolve issues promptly

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dock and warehouse areas

• Completing and submitting required documentation, checklists, and reports

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting operational efficiencies

• Licences & Experience

  • HR or HC licence is advantageous but not essential

  • No forklift licence required

  • Previous hand-unload experience is desirable; however, full training is provided, including electric pallet jack operation
    

It would be great if you have previous hand-unload experience, but we do provide training, including in the use of a electric pallet jack.

In addition, you will:

• Neat and professional presentation

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Good level of physical fitness, as repetitive manual handling is involved

• Safety-focused with a reliable work ethic
