Café and Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cafe Manager to join our team at Jamaica Blue Kardinya in Kardinya, WA. As our Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy cafe, ensuring exceptional customer service and drive profitability. This is a full-time role based in our Kardinya location.

What you'll be doing

• Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all customers
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of passionate baristas and cafe staff
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to drive efficiency and profitability
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
• Collaborate with the regional team to develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote the cafe

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar cafe management role
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in cash handling, inventory management, and financial reporting
• Understanding of food safety and health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
• Passion for the coffee and cafe industry, with a keen eye for detail and presentation
