Join our Bone Marrow Transplant Service as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 and play a pivotal role in delivering expert care to patients

Provide advanced clinical expertise and specialist nursing support to patients receiving Bone Marrow Transplant treatments across their care journey. Act as a key clinical resource, delivering expert advice and guidance to patients, carers and healthcare professionals within the specialty area. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care. Contribute to clinical excellence through education, support and advocacy for patients and families navigating complex treatment pathways. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Registered Nurse looking to further develop their expertise within a specialised Bone Marrow Transplant service while contributing to excellence in patient care and clinical practice.

Are You the Right Fit?

You are an experienced and compassionate nurse who thrives in a highly specialised clinical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing complex Bone Marrow Transplant treatments. You combine advanced clinical knowledge with strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centred care.

Demonstrated experience and clinical expertise in providing complex care within a Bone Marrow Transplant or related haematology setting. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage complex patient needs while maintaining high standards of clinical practice. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise, coordinate care and manage competing demands. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with patients, carers and healthcare professionals. Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify, respond to and advocate for patient care needs. A proactive and patient-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based and compassionate care.

Selection Criteria

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of the employees specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.Describe your experience with Bone Marrow Transplant.Describe what experience you have had with Care Co-ordination
