As a Job Coach with Marriott Support Services, you’ll mentor and support a team of employees with disabilities as they deliver high-quality gardening, mowing, and horticultural services to our valued clients.

This hands-on role involves working alongside your team to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard — while empowering supported employees to develop their skills, confidence, and independence.

About the Role

As a Job Coach, you’ll supervise, mentor, and work alongside a team of employees with disabilities, supporting them to deliver gardening, mowing, and horticultural services to our clients.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same — you’ll lead by example, ensuring safety, quality, and inclusion in every job while fostering a positive, respectful team environment.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Providing person-centred support and guidance to employees in line with NDIS standards.
• Supervising gardening, mowing, and horticultural work within the community.
• Operating equipment such as brush cutters, hedgers, pole saws, and ride-on mowers.
• Planning, prioritising, and meeting daily work schedules.
• Maintaining accurate daily records and promoting a safe, positive workplace.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience leading or mentoring a small team.
• Qualifications or extensive experience in horticulture, gardening, or landscaping.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and support people of all abilities.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles.

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (essential or willingness to obtain).
