Opal Cove Resort, located on the beautiful Coffs Harbour coastline, is an established resort offering a range of accommodation options, extensive conference facilities and our popular Horizons Restaurant & Bar.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team and play a key role in leading, developing and motivating our staff.

About the role

This is a full-time, hands-on position supporting the Food & Beverage Manager with the day-to-day operation of Horizons Restaurant & Bar. You will be confident running shifts independently while ensuring exceptional service standards and a positive experience for our guests. This role includes evening, weekend and public holiday work.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and supervising the Food & Beverage team during service

• Running shifts independently and ensuring smooth daily operations

• Training, mentoring and motivating team members

• Maintaining consistently high standards of customer service

• Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager with day-to-day operations

• Creating a positive, professional and team-focused workplace culture

About you

• Previous experience in a hands-on supervisory or management role within a restaurant or hospitality environment

• Demonstrated experience supervising, training and directing staff in a fast-paced environment

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• A passion for the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional guest experiences

• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Basic barista, bar and cocktail knowledge

• A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

• Full working rights in Australia and fluent English communication skills
