Breakfast Chef - experienced

This is a great opportunity for an experienced chef with a passion for food to work in a hugely popular Inner west cafe. Our cafe is a large, family owned and operated café in Summer Hill. Our food is high quality, homemade, fresh, well-presented and fast.

Day time shifts only.

ESSENTIALS

• Minimum of two years in a quality cafe or restaurant environment
• Qualifications in Cookery – Diploma level preferred
• A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
• Calm under pressure
• Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organised environment where team members take pride in their work
• Looking for a long term commitment

THE ROLE

• Short order service - breakfast and lunch meals for a 130 seat cafe.
• Assisting the kitchen with preparation and stock rotation.
• Preparing quality produce from scratch to present a modern Australian cafe menu. We are looking for someone with a passion for food.
