Your Role on Eyre Ward A

Working 0.84 FTE on a fixed-term contract through to 17 July 2027, you'll deliver hands-on clinical care across Eyre Ward A while playing an active role in shaping the team around you. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality nursing care across diverse inpatient and emergency settings at Port Lincoln Hospital
• Taking accountability for your own practice while offering clear guidance to junior and enrolled nursing staff
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Managing clinical portfolios that align with your own professional development goals

What You'll Bring

• Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• A minimum of three years' contemporary nursing experience in an Emergency Department environment
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students, enrolled nurses, and junior RNs in a clinical setting
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills suited to a regional hospital context
• A proactive and flexible approach to practice, with a genuine commitment to ongoing professional development
• Alignment with SA Health's commitment to safe, person-centred care in regional and rural communities
