Scene to Believe is looking for warm, reliable and enthusiastic people to join our Santa community this Christmas.

This is a casual Santa Character role based at one of our Santa photography sets across Perth. You’ll help create magical memories by welcoming children and families, listening to Christmas wishes and bringing the spirit of Santa to life.

Anyone can be a Santa

No previous Santa, acting or theatrical experience required, and there is no single “Santa look”. We provide training, a high-quality Santa suit and ongoing support throughout the season.

Flexible work that fits around you

We understand that everyone’s availability is different, so we’ll work with you to find shifts that suit your schedule

Our Santa community includes people who work full-time, part-time, are retired or are only available on certain days. Whether you’re looking for regular shifts throughout the season or selected days during the Christmas holidays, we encourage you to apply and let us know what works for you.

Shifts are available across weekdays, evenings and weekends during the festive season.

What you’ll be doing

• Creating a magical and memorable Santa experience for children and families

• Warmly welcoming visitors and listening to children’s Christmas wishes

• Posing for photos with children, families and other guests

• Bringing warmth, patience and Christmas spirit to every interaction

• Working closely with the photography set team to deliver a positive customer experience

• Following all safety, child protection and operational procedures

What we’re looking for

• A warm, friendly and approachable personality

• Confidence communicating with children and adults

• Patience, reliability and a genuine love of creating joyful experiences

• The ability to bring the character of Santa to life throughout each shift

• Some availability during the Christmas holiday period

• A valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one

• Customer service experience or experience working with children is helpful but not essential

Christmas may last a few weeks, but our Santa community stays connected throughout the year through local coffee catch-ups, monthly Zoom meetings, training sessions, Jingle & Mingle events and ongoing support from fellow Santas.
