About the role

Darwin Fibreglass Pools & Spas is seeking a Sales Admin to join our growing team in Winnellie, NT. This is a full-time position that combines critical administrative and technical responsibilities, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. In this role you will be the first contact of our sales operations whilst also providing essential technical support to our clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Managing client communications via phone, email and in person

2. Processing enquiries, invoices and quotes

3. Maintaining and updating client databases and sales records

4. Scheduling pool maintenance appointments and coordinating with technicians

5. Providing technical support and advice to clients regarding pool and spa maintenance

6. Performing pool water testing, chemical balancing and routine maintenance tasks

7. Troubleshooting pool equipment issues and identifying solutions

8. Preparing documentation and reports related to pool inspections and service work

9. Supporting the sales team with administrative coordination and follow-ups

10. Managing inventory of chemicals, parts and equipment as required

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in sales administration or client-facing administrative roles

2. Technical knowledge or demonstrated willingness to learn pool maintenance and operations

3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to do multiple tasks efficiently

4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

5. Proficiency in using computer systems and office software including email and database management

6. Attention to detail in all administrative tasks

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

8. Physical capability to perform pool maintenance tasks

9. A valid driver's licence is essential for this role

10. Previous experience in the pool and spa industry would be highly desirable
