Sunny Starts Paediatrics | Launceston & Northern TasmaniaLooking for an OT role that actually feels good to come to?Sunny Starts Paediatrics is growing, and we’re looking for a paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team.We’re a fun, supportive and genuinely collaborative team providing OT and Speech Pathology services to children and families across Launceston and Northern Tasmania.
What you’ll be doingYou’ll work with children across a range of developmental and functional needs, supporting them to build skills and confidence in the things that matter to them.Your days might include:School, home and clinic-based sessionsWorking on regulation, sensory processing, motor skills and self-careSupporting participation at school and in the communityCollaborating with families, educators and other professionalsWriting reports and developing meaningful, functional goalsWorking alongside our Speech Pathologists and Therapy AssistantsWe’re big on practical, neuroaffirming and strengths-based therapy. We want therapy to be useful in the real world — not just something that happens in a therapy room.

Who are we looking for?We’re looking for an OT who is:Qualified and AHPRA registeredPassionate about working with children and familiesWarm, approachable and genuinely enjoys connecting with kidsComfortable working across different environmentsCurious and willing to keep learningA good communicator and team playerAble to work independently while knowing when to ask for supportNew graduate? We’re open to you too. You don’t need to know everything - we care much more about your attitude, willingness to learn and how you connect with children.
