Contracts Administrator | Fit-Out & Refurbishment
Sydney, NSW | National Projects
An established fit-out and refurbishment contractor is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join its Sydney team. The business delivers commercial projects across Australia, working with a strong portfolio of repeat clients.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing contractor with exposure to fast-paced projects across multiple sectors and locations.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial and administrative delivery of projects from procurement through to completion.
Key Responsibilities Include
Preparing subcontractor scopes and tender packagesManaging procurement and subcontractor agreementsAssessing progress claims and processing paymentsManaging variations, cost reporting and project forecastsReviewing contracts and identifying commercial risksMaintaining project documentation and registersSupporting the Project Manager with budgets and reportingBuilding strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractorsAssisting with project close-out and final accounts
About You
Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within commercial constructionFit-out and refurbishment experience is highly regardedStrong understanding of subcontractor procurement, variations and cost controlConfident communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesRelevant construction management, quantity surveying or engineering qualificationComfortable supporting projects delivered across Australia
