About The Opportunity

Our Electrical and Mechanical Team are seeking an experienced Pump Attendant to join the crew! In this role, you will be operating and maintaining Council's sewerage pump stations in line with regulatory guidelines, practices, and procedures. 

The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Operate and maintain sewerage pump stations and odour control units.
• Monitor the performance of equipment and adjust if required. 
• Provide timely and accurate recording of site-specific data. 
• Engage and manage contractors on site as required. 
• Assist other operational crews as required. 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the operation and maintenance of pumps, sewer pumping systems, odour control units, and other related instruments. 
• Demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision. 
• Demonstrated experience in operating process control systems, such as SCADA. 
• Possession of a current 'MR' Class Driver's Licence
• Possession of a General Construction Induction Card.
