Disability Connect Australia is looking for an organised and reliable HR Administration Assistant to support recruitment, onboarding and general employee administration.

This is a practical administration role focused on keeping recruitment and onboarding processes moving and ensuring records and documents stay up to date.

About the role

Key duties will include:

• scheduling interviews and contacting candidates
• sending reference check links and follow-up emails
• following up outstanding recruitment and onboarding documents
• creating and updating candidate and employee records
• uploading and filing employment documents
• preparing standard onboarding paperwork
• setting up approved system access
• assigning standard induction and learning
• maintaining recruitment records, spreadsheets and registers
• supporting managers with routine recruitment administration.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• has good computer skills and learns new systems quickly
• is organised and has strong attention to detail
• communicates confidently by email and phone
• can follow established processes, templates and checklists
• understands the importance of confidentiality
• is comfortable managing a busy administration workload.

Previous administration, recruitment or HR experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
