Automotive Technician

Overview:

At YY Auto Pty Ltd, Camberwell, VIC, as part of our team, you are required to conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine required repairs in consultation with the head mechanic. You are responsible for conducting routine servicing including oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks, all while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised workshop.

Job Tasks:

• Perform routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on vehicles to OEM recommended maintenance schedules
• Inspect and test vehicles
• Analyse and locate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and control systems
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets required productivity levels, including proper documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
• Provide customer service and support to as per the organisational values
• Practice and promote compliance with WHS regulations.
• Capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable solutions
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude

Qualification and experience:

Cert III and Cert 4 in Automotive Mechanical diagnosis, Diploma of Automotive technology and minimum 12 months experience.

Salary - $80,000 - $85,000 plus super

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
