The City is seeking a motivated Turf Maintenance Officer to join our Parks Services team. This hands-on role involves maintaining parks, reserves, and streetscapes, including mowing, edging, whipper snipping, and other turf care activities.

You’ll work to daily schedules, operate and maintain turf equipment safely, and take pride in delivering high-quality results. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently or in a small team, and experience with turf maintenance equipment such as ride-on mowers.

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:

1. Construction Industry Training (White Card)
2. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment or able to work alone under direction.
3. Able to work in accordance with WHS industry obligations.
4. Experience in the maintenance and safe operation of various parks and gardens related plant and equipment.

This position offers a weekly wage of $1,466 (gross) which incorporates all allowances and penalty rates, as well as:

• 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
