📍Minga Gudjaga Gunyah | Nowra
💲Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Award
🕛Full-time, 35 hours per week
✨Identified position: Female and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
Are you the kind of person who loves keeping things organised, helping people, and supporting a team to run smoothly?
We’re looking for an Administration Officer to join our incredible Minga Gudjaga team at Waminda. This is more than admin job – you’ll be part of a passionate, community-focused team that believes in supporting women, children, and families through culturally safe, strengths-based care.
If you’re highly organised, love variety in your day, enjoy working with people, and can juggle multiple priorities while keeping a smile on your face, we’d love to hear from you.
As our Administration Officer, you’ll be the heartbeat of the office, helping the team stay connected, organised, and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for our community. You’ll support day-to-day administration, coordinate activities, assist with reporting and data management, and help create a welcoming experience for clients, staff, and visitors.
No two days are the same. One minute you might be coordinating meetings, the next you’re helping a program team, managing records, supporting events, or finding solutions to keep things moving.
Most importantly, you’ll be part of a team that works hard, laughs often, celebrates wins together, and genuinely cares about community and each other.
You’ll fit right in if you are:
✅ Organised and proactive
✅ Friendly, approachable, and professional
✅ Great at juggling competing priorities
✅ A strong communicator who enjoys working with people
✅ A team player who contributes to a positive workplace culture
✅ Adaptable, reliable, and solution-focused
✅ Passionate about community wellbeing and culturally safe practices.
At Waminda, culture is at the centre of everything we do. You’ll join a workplace that values connection, wellbeing, professional growth, and community leadership. Our teams are supportive, passionate, and committed to creating positive change for Aboriginal women, children, and families.
We believe great work happens when people feel valued, supported, and able to bring their whole selves to work.
As a member of our team, you’ll benefit from:
This is an Identified Position – applicants must identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander woman. This position is exempt under Sections 14(d) and 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
If you are passionate about recovery, healing and empowering community members to achieve positive change, we’d love to hear from you.
Applications for this position will close Tuesday, 22 of September 2026.
For more information, please contact the People and Culture team at
peopleandculture@waminda.org.au.
Ready to join a team that makes a difference every day? We’d love to hear from you.
