Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a meaningful difference in children's lives?

Spunky Monkeys Early Learning Centre – Bangor is seeking a caring and dedicated Diploma-qualified Educator (or someone actively working towards their Diploma) to join our Preschool team.

Working alongside our Lead Educator, you'll help deliver meaningful learning experiences while supporting children as they develop confidence, independence, and the skills they need for a successful transition to school.

Position: Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) – Preschool (3–5 years)

Working alongside the Lead Educator, you'll support the implementation of a high-quality, play-based preschool program while helping create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of a high-quality, play-based preschool program

• Support children's learning, wellbeing, and daily routines throughout the day

• Assist in creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments

• Contribute to observations, documentation, and children's learning records

• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• Work collaboratively with the Lead Educator to maintain a welcoming, organised, and inclusive learning environment

• Contribute to maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations, and centre policies

We're looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

You'll have:

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards)

• Previous experience in a preschool or long day care setting (highly regarded)

• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), and child development

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A positive, proactive, and reliable approach to your work

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
