About the role
Ambrose® is a not-for-profit social enterprise providing Early Years Learning and School Age Care services. With a team of 550 employees and growing, we currently operate over 50 school age care and early years education services across Catholic schools in the Greater Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains region.
Reporting to the IT Business Systems Manager, the IT Support Engineer is responsible for delivering end-to-end IT support and administration across the organisation. The role provides both frontline and advanced (Level 2) technical support, resolving complex issues, maintaining system reliability, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services.
The IT Support Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring technology services operate effectively across a geographically dispersed environment. This includes troubleshooting across devices, identity, applications, and network layers; managing system configuration and administration; and supporting the delivery of IT projects and service enhancements.
The role requires a proactive and solutions-focused approach, with accountability for incident resolution, problem management, and improving user experience through better processes, automation, and documentation.
