About the role
This is a 12 month fixed term, part-time (0.5 FTE) position commencing as soon as possible, with possible extension and/or permanency
Calingiri Primary School (PS), located in the Wheatbelt, caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds, with many living on nearby farms. Calingiri PS is a dynamic learning community where members work collaboratively to give every child the opportunity to realise their full potential and to become resilient, confident and respectful citizens. Our small student population of 24 students allows us to know each student as an individual. Staff and students work together to create a positive school environment in which every student feels safe and is able to learn in a friendly and caring atmosphere.

The Role
The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of internal and external areas; opening and locking the school and conducting daily hand over with the Manager Corporate Services.
The successful applicant will ideally have good attention to detail and will be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual. The successful applicant should work well both individually and as part of a team and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
