Care Manager

As our Care Services Manager, you will shape the day-to-day clinical operations of our Chatswood facility, fostering an environment where both staff and residents thrive. You will work closely with leadership to elevate care standards, mentor clinical teams, and drive meaningful health outcomes every single day.
 

What You'll Do

• Drive clinical care excellence: Direct and optimize daily personal and clinical care programs to ensure outstanding resident outcomes in line with national standards.
• Lead and empower care teams: Supervise, coach, and support Registered Nurses, care staff, and allied health professionals to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Master regulatory & funding compliance: Champion Aged Care Quality Standards, oversee AN-ACC/funding processes, and maintain continuous accreditation readiness.
• Champion continuous improvement: Analyze clinical data and incident trends to implement proactive safety, medication management, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Advocate for residents & families: Act as a key liaison for families and residents, guaranteeing personalized care plans that respect individual rights and choices.

What You Bring

• Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse.
• Valid National Police Check and full Australian working rights.
• A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior management role within aged care.  
• Proven knowledge and understanding of Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards Accreditation quality, compliance and clinical governance.
• Tertiary studies or certifications in clinical management, health administration, or clinical leadership is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing clinical teams, with a focus on performance development and accountability.  
• Proven ability to implement Work Health & Safety (WHS) and evaluate quality management systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.  
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a resident-first approach to care.
