About the Role:

Timbertruss is looking for a friendly and organised Transport Administrator to join our Transport team in Corio! This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive team on a fixed term contract, with part time or full time hours available to suit you.

In this role, you will:

• Keep communication flowing smoothly between our staff and clients.
• Put your great keyboard and organisational skills to use across a variety of clerical tasks.
• Chat with customers about their delivery requirements and keep the Timbertruss database up to date.
• Work closely with the Transport Team Leader to confirm daily deliveries.
• Flag any delivery issues with the Transport Team Leader so they can be resolved quickly.
• Bring jobs forward as needed and help keep production and transport schedules running smoothly in the Timbertruss database.
• Handle calls, SMS and emails about schedule changes and update the database accordingly.

What we're looking for:

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner.
• Accurate keyboard and data entry skills, with good attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive problem solver who works well under pressure.
• Experience in transport, logistics or scheduling administration is desirable but not essential.
• A positive team player who's happy to pitch in wherever needed.
