Car Wash Manager

About the role

Sparkletown is a growing Australian-owned car wash business with 10 locations across Queensland & a pipeline of new sites under construction.

We are seeking a mature, capable Car Wash Manager to manage our team at The Plains Car Wash - Redbank Plains. This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys being on the ground, leading by example and taking ownership of day-to-day operations. You will lead and oversee all operations at our car wash facility, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

This is a key leadership role that directly impacts the success and reputation of our operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site operations

• Staff leadership and training

• Customer service and complaint resolution

• Site presentation and cleanliness

• Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

• Stock and chemical management

• Operational reporting and performance management

We are specifically looking for someone who:

• Is mature, dependable and highly accountable

• Takes pride in presentation and operational standards

• Is handy and not afraid of getting their hands dirty

• Is organised, highly autonomous and mechanically minded

• Can work independently and make decisions under pressure

• Can confidently lead a small team

• Has strong problem-solving ability

• Has excellent communication and customer service skills

• Proven experience managing car wash facilities or similar automotive service operations

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering outstanding results

• Health and safety awareness

• Strong organisational and time management abilities

• Proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale software

• Physical capability to perform hands-on tasks when required

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently whilst collaborating with the wider team

• A valid driver's licence is desirable
