Role Description: The Freelance Content Editor will review, edit, and refine educational and marketing content to align with JDN Tuition’s tone, quality standards, and student-focused values. Day-to-day tasks include editing website copy, study resources, and promotional materials; ensuring clarity, coherence, and accuracy; and maintaining consistent style and messaging across all channels. The role also involves collaborating with tutors and internal stakeholders to adapt complex educational concepts into accessible content, conducting light research to validate information, and managing content updates as needed. You will be working together with the Social Media Manager & JDN founder.This is a freelance, contract-based, remote position, however requiring regular coordination with the local team and alignment with organisational goals.
QualificationsStrong editorial and editing skills, with experience shaping content for clarity, consistency, and impact.Proficiency in content management and workflow coordination, including version control and scheduling updates.Ability to write web content and general writing, with a focus on engaging, student-friendly language.Solid research skills to verify educational information and support content accuracy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and grammar.Comfortable taking ownership of your work and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
