Casual Furniture Removalist / Warehouse Assistant

We’re currently seeking a Casual Furniture Removalist / Warehouse Assistant to join our fun, fast-paced and supportive team.

A current C-Class Driver's Licence is essential.

A Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) licence is favourable but not essential. This is a great opportunity to become part of a growing, innovative small business where teamwork, pride in your work, and a positive attitude are genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver, install, and remove furniture across project sites

2. Safely load, unload, and transport high-value inventory

3. Maintain warehouse organisation and inventory quality standards

4. Follow and uphold company standard operating procedures

5. Accurately manage inventory records

6. Provide friendly, professional service to clients and team members

7. Support smooth daily operations within the warehouse and on site
   

Skills & Experience

Preferred but not essential:

• Experience in furniture removals, warehousing, or logistics

• Experience driving trucks or larger vehicles

• MR or HR licence

• Order Picker licence/ticket

• Experience using inventory management systems

Essential skills:

• Current Driver's Licence and good driving record

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Excellent time management and attention to detail

• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently

• A proactive, self-motivated approach

• Ability to lead by example and work well in a team
  

Successful Applicants Will:

• Be able to provide a current Police Clearance

• Be physically fit, reliable, and safety-focused

• Present professionally and work well with others

• Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and accountability

• Provide contactable references from previous employers

• Be motivated to meet and exceed company KPIs

• Hold an Order Picker licence (advantageous but not required)

• Hold a valid Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence with a good driving record (advantageous but not required)

Remuneration

Casual role offering $34.76 - $37.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
