We support the entire beverage industry from craft brewers who are just starting out on their journey through to major companies with operations across the globe. Our customer markets include beer and cider, alcoholic ready-to-drink, carbonated soft drinks, juices, wine, seltzers, energy drinks and more.

The Role

Reporting into the Shift Supervisor. Site typically operates a 24/7 roster which offers competitive hourly rates and allowances with 24/6 or 24/5-days possible dependent on demand.

Key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing of industrial machinery and equipment

• Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards

• Attending to mechanical breakdowns on shift

• Read & follow SOPs

• Operating high speed machinery including:

  • performing changeovers

  • troubleshooting

  • machine adjustments

• Contributing to our approach of continuous improvement and helping to achieve world class operational performance

What we are looking for

• Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification

• Mandatory experience in Aluminium Beverages Can Making

• 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment

• Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills

• Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing Availability to work across 24hr rotating shift patterns

What we offer

• Site typically operates a 24/7 roster which offers competitive hourly rates/allowances/weekend penalties. You will be paid in line with our Enterprise Agreement at an hourly rate, earning approx. AUD $128,000

• 7-day roster allows for condensed working weeks - this gives you 2 to 5 days off each week, and every second weekend off.

• Additional hours worked outside of the rosters will be paid at overtime rates

• The site has an incentive program which is paid 4 times per year
