About the Role

About You

• A Certificate IV (minimum) or higher qualification in Counselling, Community Services, Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline
• The ability to build meaningful, respectful relationships with Aboriginal people, families and community
• The resilience to support people through some of the toughest times in their lives while also looking after your own wellbeing.
• A genuine understanding of the Stolen Generations and the lasting impact this continues to have on Aboriginal people, families and communities.
• The confidence to support, encourage and advocate for people on their healing journey, helping them build strength, independence and hope for the future.
• Excellent communication, empathy and professional boundaries
• A genuine passion for supporting healing, strengthening culture and improving wellbeing
