CNC Operator / Wood Machinist

$40 - $45 per hour + Super + Overtime

Western Sydney | Full-Time | Permanent

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of commercial furniture and custom joinery products. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Operator / Wood Machinist to join their production team.
Working in a modern manufacturing environment, you'll be producing high-quality furniture and joinery components for commercial projects across Australia.

About the Role

• Set up and operate CNC machinery
• Load materials and monitor machine performance
• Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
• Produce components to accurate measurements and quality standards
• Carry out machine adjustments when required
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience operating CNC machine, preferably Biesse brand
• Experience within cabinet making, joinery, furniture manufacturing or shopfitting industries
• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented attitude
• Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
• Experience with CNC programming is advantageous
