Business Development & Branch Support - ED / ITAD - WA

Shred-X is seeking a proactive Business Development & Branch Support professional to help drive the growth of our Electronic Destruction and IT Asset Disposition (ED/ITAD) services.

This varied role combines new business development, customer growth and branch coordination. You’ll identify and convert new opportunities, manage prospects from initial contact through quotation and onboarding, and grow an existing customer portfolio through strong service and cross-selling.

Alongside your sales responsibilities, you’ll provide practical administrative and coordination support to the branch—helping ensure customer requirements, service activities and internal processes are managed efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating commercial opportunities and taking ownership of the details that deliver a great customer experience.

What you'll do:

• Proactively identify and research potential customers and existing customer cross-sell opportunities. 
• Manage a portfolio of existing small-to-medium customer accounts.
• Build regular contact with customers through scheduled calls and emails.
• Prepare and follow up quotations, proposals and service agreements.
• Complete scheduled follow-up activity consistently and within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain a professional image and ensure all communications meet Shred-X standards.

What we’re looking for 

• Experience in outbound sales, telesales, business development, customer acquisition or a similar customer-facing role.
• Demonstrated confidence conducting outbound telephone conversations.
• Ability to identify customer needs and communicate service benefits clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative skills
• Experience working to activity, conversion and revenue targets.
• Strong organisation, follow-up and time-management skills.
