Avanti Southport is a state-of-the-art, custom designed facility exclusive to over-50s, with cutting-edge HUR strength and aerobic equipment, consulting rooms and studio spaces. Avanti promotes healthy ageing, fitness and wellbeing in older adults drawing upon the latest research from around the world. 

Group Class Instructors  – Avanti Southport.

 We are seeking experienced Group Class Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidate/s will have a passion for working with older adults and promoting a healthy lifestyle. This role involves teaching group classes, providing individualized instruction, and creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere for our members.

Primary Purpose of Position

• Deliver and develop Circuit style, Dance, Strength, Mat Pilates and/or other Group Classes for the over 50's members of Avanti Southport

• Provide individualized instruction and modifications for members with varying fitness levels and abilities

• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants

Essential attributes:

• Certified Yoga and/or Pilates Instructor

• Experience working with older adults preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to create a positive and motivating atmosphere

• CPR and First Aid certification

Desired attributes:

• Cert IV in Personal Training

• Ausactive membership.
