About the role
At Sherpa Group, we don't just build properties, we build futures.
As a premium Gold Coast-based property developer and management company, we deliver exceptional developments and provide unparalleled service across property management and body corporate administration. Every project we touch is guided by an unwavering commitment to quality, integrity, and long-term value creation for our investors, our communities, and our team.
We're looking for a Hotel Manager to lead our next completing project Flourish Amargo, Palm Beach.
Rare opportunities like this don't come around often, and this is one of them.
Start date: Early November 2026
About the Role
Flourish Living and Escapes, a subsidiary of Sherpa Group, is seeking an exceptional Hotel Manager to lead operations at Amargo, our flagship development in Palm Beach, where a boutique letting business meets Club Flourish, our first café-to-cocktail dining experience.
We are innovators in the strata space, driven by a singular vision: communities that flourish, and investors who see the returns to prove it. As Hotel Manager, you are more than an operator you are the ambassador of that vision, the person who brings it to life for every owner, guest, and team member who walks through Amargo's doors.
This role sits at the intersection of four distinct worlds, caretaking and body corporate delivery, a casual but sophisticated café-to-cocktail restaurant, boutique holiday letting, and permanent residential letting, all under one roof, all under your leadership. And with seven projects in the pipeline across the Gold Coast and South Brisbane, this is not a ceiling but a launchpad: exceptional performance here opens the door to broader leadership across our growing portfolio.
Above all, this is a role for someone who can capture and champion the true meaning of Flourish turning it from a name into a lived experience for guests, owners, and staff alike.
This is a pivotal leadership appointment for our business, and you will hold end-to-end accountability for caretaking obligations, the letting pool P&L, and the café/restaurant venue, reporting directly to our Operations Manager and Director.
Key Responsibility Areas
Caretaking (Body Corporate) Delivery of the scope of works under the caretaking agreement; common property maintenance and contractor management; attendance at Committee/Body Corporate meetings; day-to-day liaison with the strata manager/Committee.
Letting Pool P&L accountability for the letting pool; owner relationship management and income reporting; guest reservations and service standards; trust account and Form 6 compliance.
Café / Restaurant P&L accountability for the venue; day-to-day service and staff management; food safety and liquor licensing compliance; stock and supplier management; positioning the venue as a guest amenity that supports letting pool occupancy.
What Success Looks Like
Achieve overall letting business P&L performance (EBITA) against budget
Achieve total keys under management against budget
Caretaking scope of works delivered with no valid Body Corporate non-performance notices
Letting pool occupancy and RevPAR performance against budget
Café/restaurant P&L performance against budget
Zero adverse trust account or Form 6 compliance findings
Owner satisfaction
About You
