Position: Spray Painter / Sandblaster
Location: Brunswick, WA
Roster: Monday to Friday or 9-Day Fortnight
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

B&J Catalano is currently seeking an experienced Spray Painter/Sandblaster to join our maintenance team. This is a hands-on role focused on preparing surfaces through abrasive blasting and applying protective or decorative coatings to a variety of equipment, including earthmoving machinery, road transport vehicles, fixed plant structures and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare metal surfaces

• Apply primers and coatings using spray painting techniques

• Maintain equipment, tools, and workspaces to a high standard

• Adhere to quality assurance and workplace health and safety standards

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

• C Class Driver’s Licence (HR Licence desirable)

• Relevant tickets/licences such as Forklift, Dogman and EWP are highly regarded

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
