Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced High Voltage Cable Jointer to join Powertech supporting our Malaga office on a Full-Time Permanent Basis.

The person in this role will also have the opportunity to develop skills in HV/LV testing.

About The Role:
Jointing and termination of underground HV/LV power cables.
HV Terminations on various types of switchgear.
Installation of earthing/ earth grids for substation and HV assets.
LV works including pillar installation and terminations/ joints.
Locate underground electric cable faults for repair.

About You:
Cert 3 or equivalent training in HV and LV Cable Jointing.
Electrical Trade Certification (Preferred).
Western Power accreditation for HV & LV jointing (Preferred).
High-risk work License.
Current WA Driver’s License.
Construction White Card.
Strong work history in Cable Jointer role.
Have at least three years’ experience as Cable Jointer.
Experience in completing XLPE terminations and joints.
