Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of rack-level system deployment projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Project Planning & SOW: Define project scopes, draft Statements of Work (SOW), and calculate necessary resources and timelines based on specific customer requirements.
• Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication, professional expectation management, and structural alignment during the deployment process.
• Field Engineering: In the absence of active deployment projects, perform on-site hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and service desk ticket handling to minimize downtime.
• Self-Readiness: Demonstrate proactive self-readiness by independently managing service workflows and responding to technical challenges in dynamic data center environments.

Qualifications:

•    Professional Experience & Project Management:
o    5+ years of experience in data center operations, IT service delivery, or technical project management. 
o    Proven experience leading and managing rack-level system deployment projects. 
o    Demonstrated success in drafting Statements of Work (SOWs), calculating project timelines, and coordinating resource requirements for complex, large-scale customer projects. 
•    Technical Skills & Field Operations:
o    Hands-on experience with high-speed cabling and structured cabling systems. 
o    Strong technical knowledge of server hardware, GPU systems, and data center networking. 
o    Proficiency in hardware diagnostics (BIOS, UEFI Shell, PXE, DOS) and troubleshooting within Linux/Windows server environments. 
o    Field Site Execution: Demonstrated expert-level capability in performing comprehensive on-site deployment tasks, including:
o    Rack movement observation and management: Ensuring safe and precise physical relocation of server racks within the data center floor. 
o    Hardware remediation support: Proactive identification and resolution of hardware-level failures during deployment. 
o    Unpacking systems and rack stacking: Executing physical installation, rack-mount operations, and server integration. 
o    Power connection and configuration validation: Managing high-density power distribution connections and performing pre-deployment configuration validation to ensure system readiness. 
•    Mobility:
o    Ability to travel frequently to different cities within the country of residence or to international locations within a 6-hour flight radius for deployment projects. 
•    Communication & Professionalism:
o    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and formal expectations. 
o    Full professional proficiency in English. 
•    Physical Requirements:
o    Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
