Dental Assistant / Receptionist

Helix Dental in Mermaid Waters is looking for two experienced casual Dental Assistants / Receptionists to join our vibrant team. We are seeking adaptable all-rounders who can seamlessly transition between providing exceptional chairside care and managing our front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities

• In Surgery: Assist clinicians with a wide range of dental procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments according to strict infection control standards, maintain surgery cleanliness, and ensure patient comfort throughout treatment.
• On Reception: Warmly greet patients, manage appointments, answer phone calls, handle patient billing transactions, and maintain accurate patient records.
• General: Provide flexible support across both departments to maintain smooth daily clinic operations.

What We Are Looking For

• Dental Experience: Prior experience working in a dental practice is mandatory.
• Versatility: Comfortable alternating between clinical assisting and front desk receptionist duties.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dental4Windows, Exact) is highly regarded.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a collaborative team attitude.
