We’re building an incredible team for our brand-new, state-of-the-art early learning centre in Wellard and are looking for multiple passionate Qualified Early Childhood Room Leaders along with one experienced Educational Leader to join us from the beginning.

Room Leader Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional education and care in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
• Prepare engaging materials and resources that support children’s learning and growth.
• Foster a culture where you and your team build positive, respectful relationships with every child in your care.
• Lead and support your team in managing and supervising children’s daily routines.
• Champion inclusivity in the classroom, promoting cooperative behaviour and teamwork among all children.
• Stay up-to-date and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.
• Track and maintain detailed, accurate records of children’s progress and development.
• Maintain open, effective communication with families and all stakeholders.
• Commit to ongoing professional development to continually grow your skills and expertise and knowledge.
• Driving quality improvement initiatives.
• Building strong, collaborative team cultures.

Educational Leader:

• Inspire Educational Excellence: Lead and mentor educators to create meaningful learning experiences that support every child to thrive.
• Shape Quality Practice: Guide curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice across the service.
• Empower Educators: Coach and support your team to build confidence, strengthen their practice and achieve positive outcomes for children.
• Bring Our Educational Vision to Life: Work alongside the leadership team to shape and embed high-quality educational practices across our new centre.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, associated regulations, and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid WA Working with Children Check, Mandatory Reporting, Foundation of Child Safety Training, and Food Safety & Allergy Training.
