Recruitment Advisor

About the role

Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment across trades, technical, operational and professional roles. You'll partner closely with hiring leaders to understand workforce requirements and deliver effective recruitment solutions, while building and maintaining talent pipelines to support future workforce needs. This role offers autonomy to lead workforce initiatives including apprentice recruitment, graduate programs, work experience placements, school-based pathways and industry engagement activities. You'll also play an important role in shaping the future of talent acquisition as the business transitions to the UKG Human Resources Information System (HRIS), influencing recruitment workflows, candidate experience, reporting capability and overall system effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across trades, technical, operational and professional roles

• Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand workforce requirements and deliver effective recruitment solutions

• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support future workforce needs

• Lead annual apprentice recruitment campaigns from attraction through to onboarding

• Support graduate recruitment programs and emerging talent initiatives

• Coordinate work experience, school-based pathways and industry engagement programs

• Develop relationships with schools, universities, training organisations, employment agencies and industry bodies

• Drive proactive sourcing strategies through LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, referrals and talent communities

• Provide recruitment reporting, market insights and workforce planning support

• Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experiences

About you

• Demonstrated experience recruiting blue-collar and white-collar roles

• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills

• Experience partnering with operational leaders and technical hiring managers

• Proven sourcing capability and talent attraction experience

• Ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Experience utilising ATS, HRIS or recruitment technology platforms

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach

• Genuine passion for developing future talent through apprentice, graduate and pathway programs

• Australian working rights and either Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
