Production Worker - Visy Workforce

Visy is currently seeking casual Production Workers for day shift opportunities at our Hemmant cardboard facility. No prior experience in production or process work? No problem! We’ll provide all the training you need to succeed.

Our Hemmant site is a near-new, state of the art facility utilising fully automated machinery and systems to produce cardboard products you see every day for well-known brands.

What you’ll do every day:

• Regular manual handling tasks including feeding and stacking
• Assist in setup and operation of automated production machinery
• Learn about machinery and technology used in the manufacturing process
• Follow site safety procedures and report hazards.
• Help contribute to the success of one of Australia’s leading manufacturing plants.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
• Fit, healthy and able to carry out repetitive manual handling tasks with a focus on safety
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• A great attitude – reliable, keen to learn and develop new skills
