Join a leading global manufacturing as a maintenance electrician working within an already established maintenance team, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance of pneumatic and semi robotic machinery. 

This position offers day shift for a Trade Qualified Electrician with experience or a desire to gain experience within an FMCG Manufacturing Environment.

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will work within the maintenance team, servicing, troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing plant equipment. This is a temp-to-perm role that will convert within your first few months. 

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your duties will include:

• Providing scheduled preventative electrical maintenance 
• Attending to breakdowns 
• Instrumentation knowledge (Digital/Analogue)
• Testing, inspecting, and diagnosing plant equipment faults 
• Working on light to Heavy production equipment.
• Fault finding PLC’s and Scada systems
• Machine installations, upgrades and commissioning

About You:

- Australian Electrical Trade qualification/License is essential
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to follow instructions
- Experience in Manufacturing and FMCG Industries is highly regarded
- Team player with full Australian work Rights
- Capable of passing pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
